What is the Parent Teacher League?
The PTL is a group of parents and teachers who help to build a closer relationship between the families of Holy Cross by providing family events and opportunities to fellowship. We are able to assist students and teachers by providing funds to purchase an additional educational item that wouldn’t normally be possible, that’s where our fundraising comes in.
Who can be a part of the Parent Teacher League?
All parents of students at Holy Cross from PK through the 8th grade.
How can you get involved in the Parent Teacher League?
Easy! Every parent is encouraged to add their special talents to the group. There are lots of ways to get involved, such as joining us at the monthly meetings to help in planning our years’ activities, volunteering at one or more PTL events, and participating in the PTL fundraisers, just to name a few!
Are there fees involved to be a part of PTL?
Yes. These fees are a part of your yearly enrollment registration fee.
When does the Parent Teacher League hold their meetings?
Meetings are held one the first Thursday of the month from 6:00pm – 7:00pm in Room 15, unless noted otherwise. Parents who attend earn 1-stewardship hour. Children are welcome to attend with their parents.
What if you can’t make the meetings?
No worries. Parents can still be involved by volunteering their time at one of our events and supporting our fundraisers. We send out notices and other alerts to keep you informed.
